Watch the live broadcast of Guido Sandleris, president of the Central Bank.
At his meeting, he announced that there would be a change in the organic charts of the money entities and that the goal of zero growth for the monetary band would be extended throughout the year.
Before answering the question, Sandleris said the central bank "will always be responsible for what happens in relation to inflation." He also said, "We do not use or use short-term shortcuts that are against the sustainability of the inflation process."
"We know how inflation affects the whole population, and the current monetary system is going to permanently lower inflation, and the disinfection process takes time, consistency and patience," he said.
