Volkswagen Virtus GTS: First image without filtered camouflage

UThe presentation of Folks and Virtus GTS is one of the most anticipated regional developments within the Volkswagen range this year and will be the most sporting model of the hatch and sedan B segment. In the past, the Sao Paulo Motor Show went ahead, but the final version has already been produced at the Sao Bernardo do Campo plant.

This is the first image of the Virtus GTS device, which appears to be from the assembly line completely without camouflage, and the assembly line has been filtered from the Instagram account of the polo fan.

The larger the picture, the lower the quality and clarity, but it's enough to know how this version looks. The front bumper has a light black mask that provides a more aggressive print and makes it look bigger. The headlights and grille have a red color inspired by golf and polo GTI. Another detail related to the middle hatchback is alloy wheels with five spokes with diamond tips. The rest of the exterior features remain unchanged, and at the same time appear to be maintaining a cool and sporty image.

Although the image is not yet available indoors, it is expected that there will be a flat basic wheel with a seam, appliqué, GTS emblem in the red part as well as the prototype. Like its predecessor, it includes a 12.3-inch driver configuration screen and a 100% digital active information display instrument with a complete multimedia system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

But the modifications will not be just aesthetic: both Polo and Virtus GTS are powered by a specific tuning of the suspension and brakes with a 1.4 PSI 1.4 PSI engine associated with a six-speed automatic transmission. Until now, German brands have not provided performance data such as acceleration or maximum speed from 0 to 100 km / h.

The presentation of both versions is scheduled for the next few months, but the arrival of our country is currently under study, but the likelihood of arrival at the end of the year or early 2020 is high.
