Twenty patients suffering from Legionella's disease in the Evergem area (East Flanders) were admitted to the hospital Friday, according to Flanders Health Authority Zorg in Gzondheid.
Two people died each Monday and Wednesday due to the disease.
"We have confirmed that a new patient was admitted to Ghent University Hospital," he said. "We do not have much more information about him, he is the 20th patient in the Evergem region."
The cause of the pollution is not yet known.
