Duque de Caxias – A campaign against mosquito Aedes Aegypti and the prevention of dengue fever, Zika and Chikungunya "The attitude toward mosquito" arrives at Duque de Caxias on Saturday 16th from Peacemaker Square in the center of the autonomous city. The actions of the City of Duque de Caxias through the US Department of State and the Health Authorities will be held from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and the Health Minister of Edmar Santos will be present. There will also be the Environmental Monitoring and Zoo Supervisor, the Health Surveillance Department (DVS) and the Bureau of Urban Cleaning Secretariat of Duque de Caxias. Programmed activities include access to information materials, distribution and yellow fever vaccination.

Last year, Rio delivered 39,082 Chichunthunia, 14,763 dengue fever, and 2,339 chika. By February 12 this year, there were 3,289 Chikun Tua, 1,304 dengue cases, and 73 Zika records.
