Deputy Minister of Economy Alexander Manolev resigned. It has already been adopted by governor Boyko Borissov, and a government press conference was announced.

I was able to leave in a matter of hours after I realized that the high-ranking Prosecutor's Office had started inspecting Manolev for unfair media use of the European Union funds.

There is a joint investigation of the sites "Buffalo" and "Blagoevgrad News", which is the owner of a conspiracy to build a "guest house" that is used as a private villa. About 380,000 BGN for this property were allocated to the European projects supported by the Rural Development Program, the two editions said. In December 2015, when Manolev was appointed Minister of Tourism, he was approved by the State Fund for Agriculture (SFA). The property is only half the size of the property, but it did not function as a family hotel for rural tourism development, the investigation said.

The Deputy Prime Minister urged that the investigation should not affect the work of the government. He also wanted to be united with colleagues who adhered to the government's moral standards and left their posts on suspicion.

"I am convinced that there is nothing in the document, but I can not give it back to the family." "Thank you for your faith, my decision is personal," added Alexander Manolvev.
