The Green Bay Packer fired Mike McCarthy coach and made Joe Fillville, an interim coach, an attack coordinator.
Mike McCarthy said that he had difficulty completing his role as Head Coach immediately after Mike Cockay failed to meet the expectations and standards of Green Bay Packers in the 2018 season.
Murphy said the process of hiring the next head coach would begin immediately.
"Mike was Packers' superb head coach and leader for 13 seasons, and we've had a lot of success both inside and outside the field," Murphy said.
But this is the third year in a row Green Bay has been struggling for a long time.
In 2016, Packers won four consecutive games to win the NFC title game after losing 4-6 and losing to the Atlanta Falcons. Green Bay finished in 7-9 and missed the play-off in 2017. Aaron Rogers missed a lot of time with a broken collarbone.
McCarthy brought in Philbin as an offensive coordinator, hired Mike Pettine and replaced Dom Capers with a defensive coordinator. Another problem appeared.
This year, Rogers hurt his left knee in the opening game of the season, but now he's feeling better. Receivers Randall Cobb and Geronimo Allison lost time due to injuries. The same issue has continued to emerge due to a third of the biggest dazzling voids and a lack of explosive play.
Rogers asks Pacer if the coach should change after the game – before McCarthy's firing announcement – at the end of the season.
Rogers spoke, "Yeah, maybe we played a lot." We all participated in disappointment and failure this season. We had a lot of opportunities and we did not seem to have flew out of many games. We are participating in the game. "
Cobb did not come back on Sunday. Packers had only three out of 14 in the third quarter.
Repeat on Rodgers
"I hate to repeat myself, but it is applicable … I do not do the right thing," Rogers spokesman said.
"The same page with the receiver, the wrong depth, the poor behavior, not the protection," he adds. "We are all doing it, and we all have time to break down a third."
The opening quarter of the fourth quarter was a perfect example of the aggressive struggle of Green Bay. Rodgers found Cobb third and 11th in the 36-yard finish, but the play was canceled by a landing penalty from right-hander Jason Spriggs.
Rogers told his team that he will focus on the next four games with the goal of "playing with pride."
Rogers coached Brian Gutekunst or Murphy at the end of the season and asked, "Well, I do not even think about it now.
Rogers said the offensive players are responsible for what will happen in the future.
"Yes, probably a lot," he said. "We did not do well."
