Samsung is likely to be the first manufacturer to introduce a phone with a hole in its display. Huawei today announced Nova 4 with a hole to be released on Nov. 17 on Nov. 4. Now Samsung's Galaxy A8 poster has appeared and it is reported that a week before the phone will come.
Galaxy A8 was first teased a few months ago when the Galaxy A9s and Galaxy A6s were launched in China. Now it has a release date and it is December 10th. A poster showing the release date has been posted to Samsung Mobile's official Weibo account.
The Galaxy A8 has a hole in the upper left corner. This hole is where the camera faces toward the front. The poster has the text "Real Galaxy" on the screen, but at the bottom is the Chinese text for "Insight into the Future". This is probably a confirmation that the design (Infinity O Display) will appear on future devices (Galaxy S10 Series Read).
