On the 102nd anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Latvia, all stakeholders will be able to watch the live concert “Cornerstones” live with the participation of the post folk group “Iļģi”.
Live at the Museum of Railway History, this concert tells about the “cornerstones” of Latvian society and its national values (the formation of Latvia’s nature, traditions, cultural characteristics, historical experiences, family values and patriotism).
The group’s original and traditional Latvian music compositions will be performed by “Iļģi”, which is complemented by thematic stage screen footage and a message from the concert director, highlighting the importance of Latvia’s “cornerstone”.
The concert is hosted by the Latvian National Theater actor Mārtiņš Brūveris.
At the concert 16.00, you can watch the Internet live on the Facebook account of the Riga City Council Education, Culture and Sports Department www.facebook.com/rd.iksd.
The concert “Strūrakmeņi” is a traditional holiday concert organized by the Riga City Council. This year, due to the epidemiological situation in the country, this does not happen directly, it happens live on the Internet.
The concert is hosted by the “I Did It” association-Riga City Council Education, Culture and Sports Department.
