Rare events have been observed at the International Space Station – Orange Earth – Space – Science

On Wednesday, one of the International Space Station astronauts took a photo showing a bright orange glow surrounding the Earth 's horizon. This orange light is known as the brilliance of the highest layer of the atmosphere due to radiation.

This glow occurs when molecules in the atmosphere are released by the sun in sunlight and ultraviolet light. The atoms begin to move faster when they reach the radiation and emit energy in the form of light when they collide with each other. The result shines above the horizon of the earth.

The picture occupies Australia, and at the forefront is part of the space station, but in the background there are orange glitter, millions of stars and clouds of the earth.

This brightness allowed the researchers to see how the Earth's atmosphere works, how particles from Earth into space interact with the earth's atmosphere.
