Van Gerwen, Van Barneveld confident of defeat in Grand Slam or Darts | now

Michael van Gerwen started the Darts Grand Slam on Saturday. In the first group match with 5-1, Brabant Number One in the world was too strong for Gary Robson.

Van Gerwen seemed to be heading for a fast-paced white paint (5-0), but he had to give up third because he missed a double.

De Vlijmenaar eventually averaged 112.66 points, topping Phil Taylor (114.65) and Geert de Vos (113.86), with the Grand Slam and Darts scoring the highest points per three arrows.

Van Gerwen takes part in a second group tournament with Joe Murnan on Sunday and participates in all tournaments if everything goes well.

Mighty Mike won three consecutive years at Darts Grand Slam in succession with Phil Taylor (16-13), James Wade (16-8) and Peter Wright (16-12) Respectively.

Ban van Nebel starts badly.

Raymond van Barneveld began badly at the Darts Grand Slam. In his first group game, Zuid-Hollander surprisingly lost 5-3 to Krzysztof Ratajski.

Van Baine Belt made it easier for Rataski to keep his first three legs, but he broke down in the seventh and the rest did not surpass his spiritual strike.

De Hagenaar still had a reasonable average of 92.30, but the dual rate (just 30) was far behind.

Van Barneveld will bounce to Michael Smith on his second group match on Sunday and will probably have to win to win in the eighth finals.

Wade has no chance.

At the sacrifice of Van Gerwen, he made his fifth consecutive victory at the 2012 Darts Grand Slam and entered the semifinals after qualifying Phil Taylor's boss in 2015.

The winners of the PDC and BDO television tournaments are participating in the Darts Grand Slam, and the major league finalists and winners of PDC's Euro Tour tournament have been authorized to start.

The third Dutchman, Wesley Harms, found Van Barneveld to be disappointed with the Darts Grand Slam. Noord-Hollander lost 5-0 to James Wade.

Harms must win in order to keep his place last Sunday in Mark Webster's second group match.
