Euronext shareholders of the Paris Oslo Stock Exchange (ETF) have approved the majority of the capital acquisition of the Oslo Stock Exchange (BOI) on Thursday. Amsterdam, Lisbon and Dublin.
The group said in a statement, "Shareholders unanimously voted for Euronext to acquire Oslo Boss VPS up to 100%.
After green light from the Norwegian government earlier this week, Euronext's shareholder approval is hoped that this acquisition will be finalized by the end of the second quarter of 2019, which was a final requirement.
Euronext has a subscription agreement worth about 53% of Oslo Bors VPS's capital and has shown that it is ready to start buying 100% of its capital. The offer to close on May 31 is worth 700 million euros to the company.
