Bruno Le Maire, Finance Deputy Prime Minister, is today in Isère (Friday, March 15). He arrived in Crolles late in the morning at STMicroelectronics' industrial site and attended a meeting of strategic committees in the electronics industry. The meeting ended with a strategic agreement dedicated to the electronics industry.
Bruno Le Maire is having lunch with employees of STMicroelectronics. He should visit the strategic investment site of the ST Crolles plant before officially launching the Nano plan in 2022.
The program is expected to be realized with an investment of about $ 5 billion in nanotechnology over 500 million years. This includes one billion public funds. The first beneficiaries of this initiative are entrepreneur Isérois STMicroelectronics and Soitec, headquartered in Bernin.
CEA-Leti is also on the program's largest beneficiary list. According to Bercy, between 500 and 600 people will be mobilized at public research centers during the planning period.
