SpaceX Tesla Roadster head to restaurant at the end of the universe

The only car that flies into space is probably frozen so far. The Do not Panic display on the car's display probably disappeared a long time because the Starman who drives the car gets cold as it gets cold. But it's okay.

After being launched on February 6 and a few months after the trip, the Cherry Red Tesla Roadster is now on a 557 day orbit around the sun that has it well past Mars.

During the weekend, SpaceX gave the world a small update on the location of the car showing it to its orbit around the sun. The word that came with the picture "Sternman's current position. Next stop, restaurant at the end of the universe."

For the launches and missions full of references to literature, music and other, the logical sequence of stories implies a more subtle head for past work.

The restaurant mentioned by SpaceX is a reference to the second book of Hitchhiker 's Galaxy series guide. Just like a phrase Do not panic. It is a tribute to the whole series mentioned above.

In this book, the restaurant at the end of the Universe called Milliways is located in the future for 57.6 million years. If we can guess, there is a possibility that the earth's car will turn through the solar system against many suns.

The roadster carries with it in the future much more than a pile placed behind the crazy dream of a man sending cars to the wheel and space.

The board includes a Hot Wheels toy model roadster with Mini Starman, a foundation of Isaac Asimov's Foundation novel (part of the Arch project) and a data storage device with more than 6,000 SpaceX employees. Photo Frame.
