We are talking about a 1.6-liter gasoline engine that works with two electric motors with a total capacity of 296 horsepower. One of the electrical installations delivers the drive to the rear wheels and the second to the front axle. The engine must operate automatically in 8 steps.

In this configuration, the Peugeot 3008 can accelerate up to 100 km / h in 6.5 seconds, and the 13.2 kW battery can travel up to 50 km in the electric furnace.

Opel is also planning to supply two additional models by 2020, and the Grandland X assembly for the African market will start at a new plant in Namibia and expand beyond the European market.
