Diana Petrinenko was born in Belousovka in the Cherkasy region. She is the winner of the Taras Shevchenko State Prize in Ukraine and is a repertoire that includes not only opera aria but also romance, Ukrainian and Russian folk songs.
In 1970, the actress received the title of People's Artist of Ukraine SSR. Five years later she received the title of Soviet Peoples Artist.
