Texas, one of the heaviest countries in the United States,



Everything, including citizens, continues to grow in Texas. The new Wallethub analysis has ranked Texas as the most fat country in the United States. The analysis, released Tuesday, compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia three-dimensionally. Obesity and overweight prevalence, health outcomes and food and physical fitness.

These metrics were evaluated using 25 measures including the percentage of overweight adults, the percentage of adults not consuming one fruit / vegetable per day, and the per-person fast-food restaurant. Raw data was collected from the United States Census Bureau, Child and Adolescent Health Assessment Initiative, the National Assembly and the National Control and Prevention Center.

According to recent data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), more than seven out of ten American adults over age 20 have become overweight or obese, and rates have been steeply rising over the past few decades for children and adolescents. Texas is also the second most obese child in the US after Mississippi.
