2019 Player Championship Leaderboard Breakdown: Rory McIlroy achieves co-leader after 36 holes

Toptracer software may not be enough for the weekend. Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetwood threw the ball and both holes led to the 2019 Players Championship in 36 holes. Both have scored a 12-under 132 at the TPC Sawgrass in the first two days. Fleetwood was 65-67 years old. For McIlroy, it was the opposite of 67-65.

Put it all on Friday evening. And now it's got to be the batting for the weekend from two of the best in the sport. Let's look at the TPC Sawgrass 36-hole leaderboard.

1. Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood (-12): How do you follow 65 on Thursday? If you are Fleetwood, start with 3-3-2. Fleetwood was 33 years old and on the uncomfortable 18th he entered the 34th with Buddy. And he kept the lead where he passed 36 holes last week. He took a relaxing break and was ready to improve 76 balls shot in the third round at Bay Hill.

"We grew up in Europe and we are playing in Europe is a different style of golf here," Fleud told the golf channel. "There are times when I have to get used to it, I definitely play games and have enjoyed myself since I got here.

McLlroy closed the day when Fleetwood ended in 3-2-4, which could lead him to his first title since Arnold Palmer Invitational last year. He started the day with a walk and he finished the round with an eight-under-par 17 and did not miss a shot. Let's look at the top five of the strokes from tee to green.

  1. Rory McIlroy: 9.5
  2. Tommy Fleetwood: 7.9
  3. Kiss Mitchell: 6.9
  4. Ben: 6.3
  5. Matt Kuchar: 6.1

It is obscene.

T3. Jim Furyk, Brian Harman, Ian Poulter, Abraham Ancer (-9): I … I have not seen players compete this week with Furyk. He has a great history, but since he took second place behind Martin Kaymer in 2014, he did not make it to the top 10 of 49 in May. Since the last round of the year (11 rounds in total). So he dropped 64 on Friday? Golf, self, best.

T7. Jason Day, Kevin Kisner, Keith Mitchell (-8): On Friday, he made eight (!) Buddies and walked 66 at-bats, all retired from Arnold Palmer Invitational, and shot a few days later for his back, talking about his early start this week. "I've never seen an injection, so I got four injections in and around the spine, obviously mitigating a lot of pain," Day said. It was obvious that the champions in 2016 had 12 buddies during the week. This week is the second in total buddy Ancer.

T10. Rory Sabbatini, Jon Rahm, Dustin Johnson, Ben An, J.T. Poston, who list, Vaughn Taylor (-7): McIlroy was not the only one that rushed rapidly on the last day of the day on Friday. D.J. He also played the last three holes of the three under, and another star of the show made him look at the 18th hole and joined him. It has double digits on Saturday and a firepower that surpasses McIlroy and Fleetwood.
