A cyclist near Boston's Science Museum suffered a fatal blow to a dump truck, officials said.
Police said an adult male cyclist had been hit by a blow at 8:15 am on the O'Brien Morishigin O'Brian Highway.

Police were still lying in the middle of the road at 10:20 am as the investigation proceeded.

In Boston, a red truck operated by a cockroach trucking company revealed the engine and pushed the hood forward.
Police said the pedestrians were hit by pickup trucks in the early reports, but later the cyclists made it clear that they had hit dump trucks.
Somerville biker Pauline Lim said he had walked past the crash site on Friday morning and said bicycle communities will strengthen protection for urban roads.
"We are constantly striving to protect our bike lanes," said Lim.
She said she always stood on the sidewalk when she took a certain stretch of the O 'Brien Highway.
