HMD Global revived Nokia 106, one of Nokia's feature phones, and the new version is called Nokia 106 (2018). This device features a polycarbonate body with a contoured design and is completely different from the original.

It is the third feature phone that the company has released since acquiring a license to manufacture and distribute mobile phones under the Nokia brand. The company revived the Nokia 3310 for the first time and then launched the Nokia 8110. Nokia originally released the original Nokia 106 in 2013.

Nokia 106 (2018) is currently available for sale at RUB 1,590 (approx. Rs 1,700) in Russia. HMD Global said the device will be available in other countries later this month. However, they did not reveal a list of countries to receive calls. While available as a dark gray color option, the original color is available in black, red and white color options.

Nokia 106 (2018) boasts a 1.8-inch QQVGA display with a resolution of 160×120 pixels. The MediaTek MT6261D processor is paired with 4MB of RAM. The device has 4 MB of internal storage and, as the company claims, can store up to 2,000 contacts and 500 messages.

All this is backed by an 800mAh battery, which claims to provide 21 days of standby time or 15.7 hours of talk time with just one charge.
