She brought home four awards on Sunday, including the best artists, the best videos, the best songs, and the best American performances.
The event, held in Bilbao City, thanked her fans in Spanish.
She knows, "I love fans so much, I know what it's like to be a fan, I know how special it is to be a bond, I love you, I see you."
There are some noteworthy things that happened at night.
Nicki Minaj and Little Mix performed together.
Nicki Minaj took down the ceiling of a huge black veil cage and performed a fireworks show before acting the best hip hop award.
Little Mix joined the stage for a sophisticated opening.

BTS has the best fans.
K-POP giant BTS won the prize with the biggest fan.
Seven members won Shawn Mendes, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez and Camila Cabello.
Janet Jackson was honored.
Singer Janet Jackson won the Global Icon Award.
She also presented a 40-year-long career mix of African drummers, flame torches, fire breathing, more than 20 dancers, and a flaming high stage.
She pleaded for "justice" for women whose voices were silent.
She said: "I want to talk about the voice of a woman who is oppressed, I am one of those women, I lived in fear and emotionally curbing women, abused women, intimidated women.
"You are with me, you are my sister."

Nigerian superstar Tiwa Savage is in Africa's best African march.

This show celebrated its 25th edition this year. MTV EMA is held every year in other European cities and is selected by fans of the continent.
Other winners included: Marshmello – Best Electronic Act; Dua Lipa – Best Pop; Cardi B – the best new artist; 5 SOS – the best rock artist and Shawn Mendes – the best live artist.
